Members: Board:

The Board consists of directors drawn from the membership who are charged with overseeing the development, growth and integrity of the ICM. Some Board members also chair a sector group and attend sector meetings at the Health and Safety Executive as well as chairing internal sector group meetings and are responsible for leading developments in their sector.

The Qualifications Leader is also a member of the Board and is responsible for overseeing the development of the ICM’s qualifications.

The Board has the ultimate authority as to whether to adopt policy proposals and meets 6 weekly in Leicester.
Members: Development Group:

The Development Group is an informal group open to all members to attend and put forward proposals, and discuss issues relating to work-related violence.

The Group meets 6 weekly on the same day as the Board

  Sector Groups:

The Sector Groups represent the interests of specific employment sectors. These include:

Health and Social care
Security & Protective Services
Transport
Retail
Public Sector
Leisure and Catering Providers*
Education*

*Not an HSE group, but an internal ICM group.
These groups come together to discuss specific issues relating to their industry and suggest policy areas for developments. The chair also engages with the relevant sector bodies that represent the industries at a national level – e.g. Health and Social Care – BILD, Commission for Social Care Inspectorate (CSCI), Counter Fraud and Management Service (CFSMS).
