Further information:
“The HSE believes that there is a real need for accreditation of training which is tailored to the specific needs of particular sectors. We were pleased to note that the Institute fully recognises that physical intervention techniques represent only a single aspect of effective conflict management and will embrace all available techniques as a basis of best practice to suit all workplace environments and potential or actual conflict situations. The proposed work of the Institute links closely with HSE’s remit to reduce violence in the workplace and we look forward to working with you to develop the valuable partnership already established"

& Safety Executive).
